Some users reported an encoding-related issue with version 2.4.
If you are experiencing “Error opening book” or your book shows up with unreadable characters, please go to Preferences->Preferred Encoding and choose “ASCII”.

when downloading .BZ2 files I find that 2.6 doesn’t convert these files as 2.4 and lower did, is there anyway to sort this out? please respond to my email (yes I did try changing preferred encoding to ASCII, but of course as the files are encoded with BZ2 it doesn’t work!) also the download section is confusing, much prefered simple menu that original version had, is there any way of reverting back to previous versions?
